As many of you know, I have been suffering a bit lately due to tear of the meniscus in my knee. It sometimes 'pops' and my knee locks up, and it happened just before half term. This was an old injury sustained while fighting, but has recently gotten worse. I took an opportunity to get it repaired on short notice- next Tuesday in fact!
I have ensured that the school will still be open as
normal, many thanks to Judith and Kris, who will be opening up for Tai Chi and Kung Fu respectively. Please get your practise in! As soon as I am able to get up the stairs, I will be back (I have been told just a few days)- so I will be teaching/coaching ASAP, although I wont regain full use of my knee for at least a month, so please bear with me. I am looking forward to being able to run and jump again, ha!
To make it up to you guys, I will organise some extra free workshops
next month to cover and correct all of the curriculum you have been learning this term.
In addition to this- as I will be likely sitting bored unable to move for a few days, I will extend my 'online students' services to you as a bonus:
Send me a video of you practising a movement or section of a form (Just take it with your phone, nothing fancy- a simple 1-2 minute clip), and I will send you a personal feedback video with three pointers for you to work on, like
this:
