I hope you are having a nice summer, and enjoying the weather.
Â
I am dropping a quick email to those who signed up for information about Kung Fu or Tai Chi classes in Penarth.
Â
My school runs along with the school terms, and we are currently on Summer break.
Â
The next term is September and I am planning the new timetable now.
Â
How many new beginners
classes I will run depends on interest, so I am sending a quick feeler first.
Â
Once I know how many of you are interested in learning kung fu or tai chi next term, I will finalise the schedule. If classes are over subscribed- I will run extra classes, and if under subscribed, I will run fewer.
Â
These will be BRAND NEW 'from scratch' classes- it's great to start together at the beginning of a term with other beginners- then we can build a nice group and you can
support each other.Â
Â
Tai Chi classes will focus on building energy, relaxing and improving balance, flexibility, leg strength and bone density- classes are suitable for all ages and are gentle, but challenging.
Â
Kung Fu classes will focus on stretching, strength training, self defence and learning the fundamental moves and exercises. There is some contact involved (always controlled- the 'full contact' moves are saved for hitting pads and bags)- this
class is suitable for teens and adults.
Â
(If you have previously trained and want to join one of the higher level groups, please reply to this email, and I will make sure that you train at the right level for you.)
Â
Please click the link below and just tick which classes you are interested in coming to. I would ask you please not to fill in the form if you don't intend to come to class!Â
Of course, if you try a lesson and it's not for you- I
will refund you and that is absolutely fine. Most people love the classes and sign up for the term, but there is no pressure to do so.
Please note that the courses are based on attending TWO classes per week for the term.
Â
Once again- if you want to learn next term, let me know. Then I can ensure the timetable is running for those who want it. Class numbers are limited, so if you wait too long, the class may be full.
