As I’m sure you know, this week is half term, so please don’t come to class, as I am away!
I wanted to give you some information about next half term’s classes.
To make the teaching more efficient, and to make sure I am covering all of the important material for you every week, the 2X week classes will be run according to the following
schedule:
Tai Chi Level one:
Class 1: Mon/Tue: Hap Ga Qigong, stepping exercises, 8 form and 24 form, Sau Gong (Qigong finishing exercises)
Class 2: Wed/Thu: Hap Ga Qigong, stepping exercises, 8 Form and 24 Form, Partner work: Posture and sensitivity exercises.
Tai Chi Level Two:
Class 1: Mon/Tue: 24 Form Review/corrections, Daoyin Qigong
Class 2: Wed/Thu: 24 Form Review/corrections, Partner work: posture and
sensitivity exercises.
Kung Fu:
Class 1 (Tuesday): Flexibility training, stretch kicks, Fundamentals (Stances, fists), Forms: Dit Bay Kyun and Gum Gong Kyun
Class 2 (Thursday): Strength training, pad work, self defence, ’12 bridge’ exercises.
Please check the Facebook group as some people are getting together to practise over the break- please try to join, or at least practise some at home.
If you haven’t been for a
while and want to get back to class- you are very welcome- don’t be shy ;) Just drop me a reply to this email and I will get you back in class and continue on your Tai Chi or Kung Fu journey.
