IMPORTANT XMAS MEAL UPDATE

Thank you to my students for bringing this to my attention-

The 'Happy Gathering' just received a ZERO hygiene rating :(

Obviously, I cannot in good faith take you there - as I just found out about this, I have had to make other arrangements.

Fortunately, our second choice "Good World" has said we are good to go for the same day, and same time!

I have negotiated the same price of £25 per head for the food and I am sure it will be as good as the other venue  (But without the salmonella😜 )

The good world is super convenient for parking, as there is a large car park right outside the front door!

Please note there is fish and prawns for the pescatarians, and tofu for the vegetarians, - and there is fillet steak and broccoli, so I'm sorted :P

The food will be brought out Chinese style to the centre of the table and you can help yourself, rather than ordering individual dishes.

Please note: They are unable to cater for 'Gluten Free'- sorry.

MENU:

8/11/2023 Friday 7pm. 30 people. £25 per person 

Starters 

1. Hot and sour soup 

2. whole crispy Duck (24 pancakes) 

Main 

1. Roast Duck & Roast Pork 

2. Steamed sea bass with soya Sauce. 

3. Golden sand king prawn in Shell

4. Sizzling Fillet steak. with black pepper sauce 

5. Mixed meat tofu casserole. 

6. salt & chilli Tofu. 

7. Stir fried broccoli in oyster sauce 

8. Sweet & sour chicken. Hong Kong Style.

 9. salt & chilli chips 

10. plain boiled Rice . 

Complementary fruit.

Hopefully- this minor 'glitch' will not affect our plans to have a great evening next Friday, and I am looking forward to it!
