Important information about the Xmas dinner!

The Rising Crane Xmas Dinner is next Friday night (8th December)

at the Happy Gathering Restaurant in Canton at 7pm.

There are 30 of us booked, so it will be a nice evening!

I may not have been clear in my previous email so I wanted to clarify:

The set menu will be brought to the tables 'Traditional Chinese style'- so the dishes are put in the middle and we all help ourselves. We are having the dishes in Menu B and C on the following set menu:

I have negotiated a price of £25 per head for the food. Please note: this does not include drinks or service charge.

You do not need to pay a deposit, if you have booked with me- just pay the restaurant on the night.

If you have not booked yet, and you want to comet- please reply immediately to this email so I can let the restaurant know to reserve your place(s).

If the menu does not suit you, for example you require a vegetarian/vegan  menu- please contact me ASAP unless you already specified it on the form you sent me. I will need to let the restaurant know about numbers etc.

Please reply directly to this email with dietary requirements.

I asked them about 'gluten free' and unfortunately, it is not possible for them to guarantee the dishes to be gluten free- I am sorry- if this is a deal breaker please let me know.

LIFTS:

Several people said they can give lifts, so if you require a lift, please post in the Facebook group and we will figure out who is coming from which direction etc.

TAXI:

Some people thought it might be a good idea to book a minibus or large taxi from the school to the restaurant, to avoid parking hassle etc. If you want to do that- add your name to the post, and I will organise it if there is sufficient interest.
