Hi
This is the final group email for a while- classes are starting on Monday 7th.
I got the place today, and have
spent the day cleaning, painting, and hanging pictures!
The environmental health officer is coming tomorrow, to sort out the license for acupuncture at
the premises. So I will be starting my clinic as soon as I get that.
If you are interested in seeing how it is all
going- please follow me on 'Facebook':

It's looking unlikely that the signs will be sorted for next week-
so you may see the old signs for 'Devine Health and Fitness'.
The door will be open and I am upstairs- first floor.
If you can't find me- look for 'Motts Insurance' on the corner of Arcot St and Plassey St,
I am next door.
I am looking forward to meeting you all in person :)
If you are not
coming to the course this time- please stay on the email list, and I will send you a message in the new year, when I am starting the next courses.
I have a final few Q&A to answer:
Q: What do I need to wear?:
A: Please wear loose clothes that
you can move easily in- no jeans, skirts etc. Jogging bottoms/tracksuit/yoga clothes etc. are ideal.
I don't recommend running shoes/trainers as it is hard to balance in those. The best footwear are flat plimsols/deck shoes or similar. You can train barefoot if you want, but the wooden floor may be cold. Socks are too slippy.
If you are doing the Kung Fu class- expect to sweat and bring a water
bottle.
For Tai Chi - the class will be gentle, but you can bring a water bottle if you want.
Q: I have particular injury/disability that makes some moves difficult, what should I do?
A: I would appreciate you just dropping me a message telling me what your condition is, then I can plan
accordingly and accommodate.
Q: I can't remember what day/time I booked!
A: No problem! Just reply to this email with the name you booked under, and I will send you a reminder.
Q: What do I need to do to prepare?
A: Nothing, just turn up! If you want to review the online course I sent you- especially the 8 Qigong
exercises- that is what we will be doing for a warm up, so if you are super keen- you could practise that first, but if you have not had a chance to- don't worry, I will be teaching from scratch.
OK- one more thing:
Mobile phones:
Please silence your phones for the lesson! Take an hour for yourself and enjoy the class.
OK- that's it for now. Please feel free to reply with any questions, otherwise I will see you next Monday or Tuesday!
all the best,
Sifu David.
