Hi
I hope you are well.
I have been getting a lot of questions from people about the new classes in Penarth, so I
thought I would drop a group email.
(If you have any more questions I did not answer, just reply to this message, and I will get back to you.)
I will also link to some video and resources for you.
Q: Where are the
classes?
A: My new school opening in November in Penarth. You can find address and a map by CLICKING HERE
Q: I paid for a trial online- when is my first class?
A: Thanks to all who have already booked a trial- if you
booked online, then your place is already held.
There was a bit of a glitch for the website not taking you to the "Thank You" page after payment. Apologies for that, and it has now been fixed. I can confirm that if you entered your card details, you have successfully reserved a place.
If you booked a Monday/Wednesday course, then your first lesson is MONDAY 7th NOVEMBER.
If you booked a Tuesday/Thursday course, then your first lesson is TUESDAY 8th NOVEMBER.
Q: What do I wear for the class?
A: The most important thing is to wear loose comfortable clothing that does not restrict movement.
Please don't wear jeans or skirts etc. Jogging bottoms/leggings are fine and a t-shirt or
loose top.
Footwear: Please bring flat indoor shoes. Plimsolls/deck shoes are ideal. You may train barefoot if you prefer. I do not recommend wearing trainers or thick soles as you can't feel the floor.
Q: Do I have to train 2 classes per week?
A: After teaching for 25 years, I have found twice to be optimal. My
curriculum/lesson plans are based on twice weekly attendance, and this enables you to progress much faster than once per week. Of course- if you want to do more often, you can. I really want people to get the full benefit of this practise, and like learning an instrument or a new language, regular practise is key.
Q: Can I pay cash rather than online?
A: As my school is not open yet, this is not possible I'm afraid. The online payment is Via Stripe, and is 100% safe and secure. If you want to pay for the remainder of the course by cash after the trial you can. I will also give people the option to pay online or by DD etc.
If you have not yet booked- I would recommend booking soon as the spots really are filling very quickly.
If you miss this intake- there will be another in the New Year.
OK- as promised here is a video:
Some people were a bit intimidated by the Kung Fu stuff I shared last time, so here is a much more laid back Tai Chi Video for you.
